Finesse Licensing Usage - Finesse Desktop + API access

Hello, I've come to a dead end trying to determine whether or not using a 3rd party tool(CRM Connector in this case) will consume an additional Finesse license.

The exact scenario is:

1) CCX agent is logged into Finesse desktop

and 

2) CCX agent is logged into CRM connector(utiziling Finesse API) within Salesforce

Are there any licensing ramifications with using this model?

License is consumed only for Finesse login, after that whatever you do within Finesse Desktop be it using CRM connector within SF, opening 3rd party gadgets etc does not consume any additional license.
