How to retrieve non-user info via UCCX script

Hi, I'm looking at improving the information our agents see before accepting an ACD call, and looking at what information we can retrieve to insert into custom call variables in CAD.
I've learned how to get the User info for extensions on our CUCM cluster with no problems, but some of our phones do not have a User record associated with them, resulting in blank variables.
Is there any way to retrieve fields from the Directory Number records rather than the User record?
(eg. Description, Alerting Name, ASCII Alerting Name)
(we are running UCCX 8.5.1)

It's possible but not practical due to changing APIs, for instance upgrading between 10.5 and 10.6 can break the behavior and prevent scripts from loading.
We're adding this capability to ContactView as it is machine generated it can compensate for API variance between UCCX versions. I would not recommend doing this otherwise unless Cisco releases an official step or other capability to capture this information.
