Hi All,

I have enterprise IPCC containing one ICM & two CVPs.

I need to make a simple script as follows:

welcome prompt (concatenated of five separate waves)

if user press one------>goes to 1000

if user press two------->goes to 1001

if user press three------>goes to 1002

if user press four-------->goes to 1003

for repeating the main menu user press #.

I have the following Qs:

1-Does scripting make on ICM itself or CVP.

2-How I can upload wav files to server?

3-How i can upload script to server?

4-how i can add jtapi trigger to the script?

5-How i can concaenate wav files to be heared as if one file when user running script?

I did this many times on express edition IPCC but enterprise not

Any good help guys?

Start with SRND for CVP.  I was totally out of it when I come with UCX

mentality.  Also Voice Gateways and Gatekeepers play a big role in CVP implementation.

I have attached CVP 7 SRND.  If it does not get update you can search Cisco documents section.  Make sure you use the right CVP versions as well for your guides.

Good luck,

Hello Geoff how are you today?

can you tell me if prompt of voice xml gateway support codec G.729?I have scneario from branch but they detect source codec g711 I need to see if can change that to do not using more BW through the WAN.

BestRegards.

not sure if you got your answer but simple answer is yes however you have to

make sure the codecs are followed through the end point.

Obviously 7.11 is supported if not you can use transcoders as well.

Thanks,

Baseer

You can play prompts in G.729. Once you have recorded / converted the prompt in G.729 you have to edit it with a hex editor - I use Notepad++ with the HexEditor plug in. The technique is described in the CVP 8.x release notes.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/customer_voice_portal/cvp8_0/release/notes/cvp_801_rnotes.pdf

As you probably know, you can't use ASR or TTS.

The best thing is a flat codec throughout - G.729 for all legs, media files etc.

Regards,

Geoff
