Customer's having 6 CVP servers and all servers are handling calls with the Load balancer deployment. we are migrating to UCCE 12.0 from 10.5 version. is it possible to install 2 CVP PG's in a single VM with 4 PIMS in one CVP PG and other 2 PIMS in another CVP PG, as UCCE 12.0 only support 4 VRU PIM's under 1 VRU PG?

Hi All,
Below is the response we got from TAC,
************************************************************************************************************************
As per the design guide, you can deploy only one Agent PG, one VRU PG, and one MR PG on each VM. In the standard layout for the Contact Center Enterprise Reference Designs, the Agent PG, VRU PG, and MR PG are coresident on a single VM.
As per UCCE 12.0 virtualization guide, Unified Contact Center Enterprise (CCE) Large Peripheral Gateway (PG) Virtual Machine configuration sized for a maximum capacity of 2,000 active agents and 20 All Events Clients. This OVA must be used for the following PGs in a Virtual Machine configuration.
Agent PG
VRU PG
MR PG
You are not supposed to add more than one VRU PG on a single VM.
**************************************************************************************************************************
From UCCE 12.0 we can install Agent, VRU and MR in a single VM as Unified PG concept with large PG option. If we want one more any additional PG we have to install another VM.
Example 1:
VM 1 (Agent PG, VRU PG)
VM 2 (VRU PG)
VM3 (MR PG)
Example 2:
VM 1 (Agent PG)
VM 2 (VRU PG)
VM 3 (VRU PG, MR PG)
Example 3:
VM 1 (Agent PG)
VM 2 (Agent PG, VRU PG)
VM 3 (MR PG)

Can you point out where a single PG can ony handle 4 VRU PIMs? Here's what I remember being the rules, but it's been forever since I've re-read the SRND.
1. You should only have 2 PGs per server. Which it sounds like you're good there.
2. The PG size for VRUs depends on the total number of ports being handled, so you might be able to do 3 and 3 instead of 4 and 4.

Thank you so much for posting the answer. Is this completely different than what I remember.
