Hi,
I upgraded IPCCx Server from OS Ver 2003-1-2a to OS ver 2003-1-5a.
The upgrade intalled without any problems, however the NIC driver was disabled after the upgrade.
It could not be re-enabled. Device manager showed the Network Adaptors with exclamation mark. From here I could update the driver which made no difference.
The HP NIC Config Utily did not detect and Nics installed.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated. The upgrade was tested on a spare server.
thanks
Ian

Hello Ian,
Please go to Services and make sure that Network connections services is running.
Also try to uninstall the NICs from Device Manager and reboot the server, after that see if the server detect the NIC and re-install or do a scan for hardware changes.

Pablo,
Thanks for the suggestions. The Network connection services was running. I uninstalled the NICs from DM and rebooted. New hardware was detected, but I still had the same issue.
I have now reinstalled the OS upgrade again and this has resolved the issue.
thanks
Ian.
