Outbound Dailer - Upload CSV records

Could anyone share some information on the process how I can upload contactList onto the dailer?

I understand this can be done with the CSV file populated. What would be the format of these CSV file?

is there a template?

If UCCE the format depends on your campaign configuration. If UCCX there is no way unless you write some customization to use the API.
