Passing Call variables from Cisco to NICE call recorder

Hi,

 

We need to pass the call variables from Cisco IVR (CVP) to NICE call recorder for tagging. As of now Cisco passes only CTI events such as Extension, Call duration etc to NICE. Can we pass additional call variables to NICE in any way. Thanks.

This doesn't help you, but for Calabrio call recording for instance, you can definitely read Peripheral Variables into Calabrio from UCCE. I can't imagine that NICE/InContact doesn't offer the same capabilities.

Thanks for your inputs. We have done this in Calabrio already. But we are facing issues while integrating with NICE. We are exploring this. Can we add additional tags in CTI events which we send to NICE?

It looks like you can based off of this (not sure what version you have) but what did NICE tell you with this? I would imagine they'd have to have this documented in their portal since these are basic variables you're looking to send over?
