After entering wrong password three times while logging into CAd the ID gets locked. Do we have to wait for the timeout to relogin or can we rest the password and relogin.

Hi,
Resetting the password wouldn't unlock the account. Agent account is basically locked in the PIM level.
This is a default behaviour of PG/IPCC(and not CAD). Please take a look at the the below registries in the PG's.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems, Inc.\ICM\
AccountLockoutDuration
AccountLockoutResetCountDuration
AccountLockoutThreshold
It's good stick onto the these default regsitry values keeping security concerns in the mind.
