Currently we are running an PCCE 10.5.2 Due to capacity issue we are planning to setup Fresh UCCE 11.x setup.
Below is my plan for UCCE .
- UCS staging - New UCS and ESXi Installation , License addition , Vcenter creation . etc..
- VM’s creation - As per cisco Sizing new VM’s will be create for Windows and Linux
- Operating system - Windows and Linux operating system Installation and O/S staging and etc..
- SQL Installation - SQL Installation and staging will be done
- Cisco software Installation – ICM , Linux Application will be installed for CVP OAMP , CVP call / VXML /Media , CVP Reporting , ICM – Rogger , Generic PG ( CVP +CUCM) , MR PG , CUCM , Finesse , CUIC , Socialminer , etc..
- UCCE check list and staging will be done on all the components
Till that point I am ok . Now I want to know about the Data migration process for Configuration ( AWD) and Historical Data .(HDS) – we have external HDS for PCCE setup
For
Linux appliance Backup – CUCM , Finesse & Live data – CUIC - it will support DRS backup procedure or not . If not please suggest
ICM EDMT data migration – EDMT will support for PCCE to UCCE data migration or not . If not please suggest
What about CUCM , CVP Call / VXML and CUIC licensing – can I rehost old Licensee or need to buy new …
Your clarifications and concern needed to do smooth Migration ! .
