PCCE Initialization

Hello,

I am working on a new PCCE setup and finished most of it. But now I am stuck at the part where we switch deployment type to PCCE 2K.

I was getting the error related to exceeding the 200% CPU subscription and 65% CPU reservation.

Then we placed it on a host with enough resources but the issue became having PCCE 12.0 components on this host which apparently created conflict (?)

Now the issue is that there is no host with enough resources and the host that does have the resources has PCCE 12.0.

So I need to make sure that I understand the requirements.

Also, if I take the functional PCCE 12.0 setup and distribute the components to other hosts to have the dedicated host empty with enough resources and place on it the 12.5 components, will 12.0 remain functional and receive calls?

It turns out the issue was related to the point on Datastore.

The PCCE components can coexist with other unrelated VMs on the same host on the condition the VMs do not share the same datastore.

After we placed all the components on the same host with the datastore separated, it passed.

PCCE has a defined host and VM structure that needs to be followed to set Deployment type. So you may have to give more clearer information as to what is your host and what exactly are you trying to do.

To answer your last question, pcce 12.0 wouldnt work that way. your deployment will fail.
