PCCE validation scripts

Can the CUCM OVA be deleted from the UCS C series servers after the PCCE validation scripts? We are using CUCM outside the UCS box and had to create the temp. OVA for the PCCE validation to execute successfully. Now that the validation is completed, can the temp OVA be removed?

PCCE supports two VM Layouts: On box and off box.

What you are describing is an off box layout.

PCCE 9.0(1) only supported on box layouts.

PCCE 9.0(2) (and greater versions) supports both on and off box layouts and will validate without the OVA's / VM's present.

We have 9.0.4 PCCE. Now that the validation is completed, can i delete the unused CCM OVA?

They are not needed if your CUCM is off box.  You should have been able to validate without them.  If this causes a problem, please send us the vmValidationlog.txt file so that we can see what the issue is.

Please note we have already validated. and since we are running 9.0.4, we could delete the dummy OVA we created.
