Hello all,
I have a db backup for CUIC 9.1.1.10000-117 version that deployed on physical machine.
I would like to load this backup on new CUIC 11.0.1-10000-107 version that deployed on vm machine.
this vm have new ipadress and hostname.
What are the steps to do this?

This is not possible. You can only restore on
1) The same version for which backup was taken
2) The details such as IP Address, hostname etc also needs to match as of the machine on which backup was taken and also of the machine on which restore is going to happen.
The above is not applicable only for CUIC but for any other UC application as well such as CUCM, UCCX, CUC etc. Hence, you will need to take a DRS backup of existing CUIC on the physcial server, then build a new VM on virtual environment perform the DRS restore and then upgrade this VM to 11.0.(1)
