UCCX – Real Time Reporting Tool  - Unable to launch the application

Per instructions on UCCX Admin > Tools > Real Time Reporting Tool

Download RTR  > dbl click to run  > Error :  Unable to launch the application

Java Control Panel instructions on UCCX

--Java version is later than 1.7.0_80  (1.8..2_211)

--Security Tab > Add FQDN of both servers  > Both HA servers are already added to Exception Site List

--Advanced Tab > Select to use TLS1.2 in Advanced Security Settings > this option is already checked/ selected.

Any suggestions ?

I ran into the same issue this morning and TAC was able to help with the following 2 steps:

1.) add the IP and hostname of your UCCX servers to your computer's host file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)

2.) In your Java control panel settings, go to Temporary Internet Files -> Settings -> Delete Files and check Installed "Applications and Applets" and click OK.  Then re-download the RTR .jnlp file from your UCCX server and relaunch.

I was able to access the RTR after performing those steps.
