Hi all,

I'm trying to create a date variable like this : D[April 22, 2010] this was a normal thing in UCCX 7 and before, but I can't save it.I'm sending in attach the error that I'm receiving.

Thanks in advance for your precious help.

Marco

You're doing it right, as you already know, and as I have confirmed for you in an 8.0(2) editor as well:

Your screenshot raises some concerns though:

  • What version of UCCX exactly? There is an 8.0(2) SU1 out.
  • What version of Windows is that? 7?
  • Is that Windows 32 or 64 bit?
  • Are you running in compatibility mode?
  • Your script looks older than dirt.
    • We haven't had execute steps since 3.5 i think.
    • Try doing the same with a brand new script.
  • Try reinstalling it.
  • Try from a different computer.

Hi Anthony,

and thank you very much for your response.

  • What version of UCCX exactly? There is an 8.0(2) SU1 out.

8.0.2.10000-41 (NO SU1)

  • What version of Windows is that? 7?

Windows 7 Enterprise ENG

  • Is that Windows 32 or 64 bit?

32

  • Are you running in compatibility mode?

NO. In compatibility mode XP or Vista is a disaster

  • Your script looks older than dirt.
    • We haven't had execute steps since 3.5 i think.
    • Try doing the same with a brand new script.
  • Try reinstalling it.
  • Try from a different computer.

I'll try with the new version SU1.

Have a nice day,

Marco

Hi Anthony,

Your post was a benediction ! My is a client problem (windows 7). I've just installed ccx editor 8.0(2.0) on a windows 2003 OS and all my problems are disappear.

Thanks a LOT.

Marco

PS I think that Cisco must update software for WIN7
