Hello,
I have installed a CUCM (v14) cluster and want to use UCCX (v12.5).
When I create the Call control group, the CTI ports are created on the CUCM, but they are not registering.
Also the route points are created when I add an application, but it does not register.
What am I missing?

Hi ,
This usually happens because the UCCX is not able to authenticate to CUCM using JTAPI Application user.
Try to check if you have misstyped the password or try to use a less complex password avoiding special characters.
After that change, restart the CCX Engine.
Also go to the UCCX To Subsystems-->Cisco Unified CM Telephony and select Cisco JTAPI Resync and on the same menu select Cisco Unified CM Telephony Data Synchronization and check the consistency of Ports and Group.
Please let me know
Regards
Carlo

Also in RTMT I can see no Call control groups...

In the Control Center, I see that Unified CM Telephony Subsystem is 'Out of service', however Cisco Unified CM Telephony Data Synchronization is in sync...

Changing the JTAPI password was the thing that finally worked for me. Thank you for this post!

Hello Carlo,
this worked indeed. I had to use a less secure password and then the CTI ports and Route points registered immediately.
Thanks for the support.
kind regards
