UCCX IVR script and SIP lines

Hi All,

I'm asking if the UCCX system has a limited Applications for IVR scripts or not ??

Also what about the gateways is it possible to have two SIP lines and using separates applications and IVR Scripts?

I am not able to understand what exactly is your ask, are you asking if two numbers can invoke two different application and script?

Yes, simple as it is.

Yes It can be done,

lets say you have two numbers hitting your CUCM cluster which UCCX is connected to and the numbers are 12000 and 12001.

on UCCX create a application called APP1,create and attach the trigger 12000 to it(which will also create a CTI Route-point with DN 12000) and in APP1 select the script uccx1.aef.

on UCCX create a application called APP2,create and attach the trigger 12001 to it(which will also create a CTI Route-point with DN 12001) and in APP1 select the script uccx2.aef.

This is one way, but there are numerous possibilities out there, you can also handle two different numbers in single uccx script and depends with the style of scripting you have.

Great! thanks

At the gateways side, what the possibilities to have 2 deffer lines, for these two CTI Route-Points .

Is there any limitation/ licenses on the UCCX (How many Applications can I have/ Scripts ),

and How many Lines can be handled by the Voice gateways?

when you say two different lines, do you mean two different DNIS?

The DNIS is something delivered by the service provider when caller dials a number to reach out your contact center services.

You basically have a gateway which are setup to connect to the service provider over SIP trunk or T1/E1 PRIs to dial-out and receive in coming calls from PSTN.

The incoming calls will have DNIS which will be delivered to your gateway and the gateway will have dial-peer which will then direct those calls to CUCM and CUCM can handle them with UCCX scripts.

So you can have as many DNIS coming into the gateway for different number caller dials to, here also there are numerous possibility and you can talk to the service provider on how to set it up best.

Voice gateways certainly have limitation on how many concurrent call load they can handle, here is the compatibility matrix for UCCX

You can pick a gateway model and check the limitation and load they can handle, just matter of googling out some stuff.
