UCCX NonVoice Subsystem in partial service

Timothy Jaberg

I was alerted an issue the other day from a UCCX Subscriber node of the NonVoice Subsystem in partial service.

When I checked the CCX Engine service and sub service, it showed fully up and had been up for several weeks since it was last rebooted. Nothing was in partial service.

The messages in the log are:

17067055: Apr 19 14:20:43.275 EDT %MIVR-SS_CHAT-1-SS_PARTIAL_SERVICE: [SM Tomcat Poller Thread - 1] com.cisco.wf.subsystems.chat.SubsystemChat NonVoice Subsystem is in partial service

17067056: Apr 19 14:20:43.280 EDT %MIVR-SS_CHAT-1-SS_PARTIAL_SERVICE_CCP_TOMCAT_DOWN: [SM Tomcat Poller Thread - 1] com.cisco.wf.subsystems.chat.SMTomcatPollerThread NonVoice Subsystem is in partial service

I didn't notice any service impacts, yet this is all that the log shows.

UCCX version12.5.1.11900-146

Has anyone seen this before and is this a bug?

What version of CCP are you running. ?

They have to match exact on the version.

Customer Collaboration Platform (CCP)

Application Software Version: 12.5(1)-1

Operating System Active Software Version: 12.5.1.10000-15

Operating System Active Software Version: 12.0.1.10000-14

So your

CCP platform is 12.5.1

CCX Platform is 12.5.1 SU 1 (agree on that ??)

There is also a CCP 12.5.1 SU1 (12.5.1.11000-300), and your should upgrade to that (if your CCX is on SU1 already)

Software Download - Cisco Systems

CCX and CCP has to be on same version (including SU)

So the version mismatch is causing this error?

It could be the reason- I would start there...

The design guide for uccx/ccp says it has to be on the same version including SU.

I will think that TAC will say you have to upgrade before they will look into it (If you contact them)
