Hello all,
i would like to ask about the best way to synchronize UCCX servers Clock time if the server have no internet connection?
can we synchronize the server with an ntp router? and how?
onemore question is that are the QM recording files stored as .spx files encrypted? and if not how to encrypt this storage files on the server or in case copied to another server?

Hi
In this situation the recommended way is to point the server to the CUCM pub.
More information about NTP can be checked from the page "81" in the link below
Note:
If UCCX is running 8.x version chaning/adding NTP field will change the license MAC.
Hope this helps

Thank you for your help,
but one question if i had UCCX V8, you mentioned the license MAC will change, what do that mean?
a new license should be generated? or what?
also, is there a way to check the current UCCX (IVR App) clock?
The IVR App is not affected at all with the Windows server Clock? aren't there any relation between the two clocks(UCCX Windows Server Clock & NTP Clock)?
more, do you have any info about encrypting QM Recorded Prompts(.spx files)?
thank you
