Hello,
I'm preparing to do a 200 phone roll-out for a customer that does NOT have Contact Center. Am I able to simply configure UCCX in a VM, use it for TAPS and then take the VM down?
I'm just trying to figure out the easiest way to do this without breaking out the Sharpie for 200 phones.
Thank you,
Jeff

As far as i know, yes. Keep in mind that TAPs is not a CCX application. CCX simply hosts this UCM application. You might want to follow up on UCM forum.

Right. I guess i'm also looking to find out if UCCX is portable. As in could I install in a VM on a laptop and move it easily between networks. How tough is it to change the IP address of the UCCX...or is it not possible?

I think you'll find the licencing mac address with stop you doing this and will take you back to a 30 day licence.
