Hi,
Hopefully this isn't too easy of a question, it is unfortunately coming from a non-developer mind.
Does a callback function require an external database with UCCX8?
We are migrating from UCCX7 to UCCX8 and currently incoming calls to our support centre that are not answered immediately have an option to be called back. This is completed in UCCX7 by writing the details to a callback database on the SQL server on UCCX7. Since UCCX8 has moved to informix, it appears necessary that this now needs to be on a remote database. Is this necessary? Can a feature like this be completed internally?
Cheers,
Mark

You should be able to do it without using a database.
Download Various Scripts.zip from the link below and look at the voicemail and voicemail queuing scripts.
