Hi,
We are using CRS4 at the moment on a windows box, and we are looking at upgrading to version 8 (Linux version)
Has anyone done this? We only have 2 scripts that can easily be re-written if need be. What are your suggestions?
Thanks
Simon

Is there any requirement to carry over the historical reporting data or do you have the luxury of building this from scratch? If the latter and the config isn't too large (I assume not if there are only 2 scripts) I would definitely recommend building this as a new system. You may even luck out and the scripts may work in version 8. Of course, once your 8 system is online you'll need to verify them using the v8 script editor.
Best of luck.

Hi Simon,
The only supported upgrade options are from UCCX 5.0(2)SR2 or UCCX 7.0(1)SR5 to 8. If you're already on CRS4 now, migrating to 5 and then to 8 is probably the "easiest" option. As mentioned if you've only got two applications and nothing complicated in terms of agents and skills- it's probably easier to just do a fresh 8.x install.
