Virtualize Cisco Unified Contact Center 8.5.1.11002-22

Hello,

After go over few articles about the virtualize Cisco UCCX I would like to know the experience about version 8.5.1.11002-22. I have read in this article http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Virtualization_for_Cisco_Unified_Contact_Center_Express#Unified_CCX_or_IPIVR-Specific_VM_Installation_Information that vmware only support from Unified CCX release 10.0.

In my case would be a hard task have to upgrade to release 10 because the call manager version is also 8.5.

What the document say is below which means starting 10.x you cannot use MCS to install UCCX. At no point it says that you cannot install UCCX 8.5.1.11002-22 on UCS, in fact till 9.x UCCX you can install it both on virtual and MCS

Only virtual servers are supported from Unified CCX release 10.0
