I'm testing the wait step in ucce 10.5 and it drops the call after 5 secs. I've done a Google search and see another person with warm issue with the solution didn't seem to fit ours. Where else would cause be
Thanks

With CVP?

Yes, with cvp but we use script editor,. ICM for the actual scripts.
I've seen this but I'm sure it is right for us

What i think would be happening is, the ICM subsystem in CVP is timing out.
By default, CVP looks out for a response from ICM within 5 secs, and if it cross 5 sec then it will timeout the call.
You will be able to see this behaviour in CVP logs.
its standard and default behaviour.
Your best bet is to stop using wait node and use something else, perhaps playing 5 secs of silence.

If I use the silence wav then I wonder if this would work
Thanks
The wait node 'could' have have been to vary the time between announcements, some scripts may want 5 sec while other 10,15 etc. If I record a long silence then I could vary the time in the same way as a wait step but individual network VRU with different timeout 5,10,15 so again to give options
Will this work?

You can consider below solutions.
1. Record different silence files based on your requirements.
5sec silence, 10 sec silence, 15 and 20 sec silence or even further divide them like 1s, 2s,3s till 10 sec.
now if you need silence less than or equal to 10 sec, you have file with you readily available to play.
if you need silence more than 10, lets say 15 sec then you can play 2 wav files 10 and 5 secs.
you can also utilize feature on microapp where you play announcement from content of Peripheral variable, in this case you don't have configure multiple network VRU scripts. Juts define 1 VRU script and define wav file in appropriate peripheral variable.
2. Record a small 1 sec silent announcement, and configure it with Menu microapp.
Now you can vary Input timeout values for menu microapp.
3. Try what wrote above, single lengthy silence announcement with varying number of VRU timeout value.
the only issue i see with this approach is the call will come out of failure node, and it will be hard to tell if it was CVP which has failure or its just timeout happened.
