Im trying to deploy whisper announcement in my lab on UCCE 11.6 ver , however moment incoming call is answered finesse goes into reserved state just in 2-3 seconds (aprox) agent state returns to ready state with no prompt/message heard on agent phone.
I have referred to cisco guide while configuring whisper. Taken care off target re-query on Qtoskill , header-passing on vxml gateway , call.whisperannouncement variable. Please let me know if something else is missed.
Also im using en-gb (no underscore) while constructing file path in ICM script
Without whisper basic inbound calls works fine .
While i checked in the cvp log noticed as below

I do not suspect file path URL access related issue , but 488 error is making to re-think not sure how to proceed further ,. Any pointer will be appreciated

Earlier you say it is http://172.29.54.26/en-gb/app/Welcome.wav , but here you have it as pleasewait (and it looks like with an extra space in the URL after the language)?
I'd say start with the basics, if you cut and paste the URL of the media files in a browser, can you reach them?

It was my typo (in copy pasting log from server) , i was trying to test it with multiple files available in lab..... just to avoid issue with file format.
yes, im able to download file when i paste this URL in browser. Also i have restarted vxml gateways but no change

Are you using the same codec for everything (G711 ulaw for instance)?

We are using g711A-law , Bill!

I would try one in ulaw as a test. You'll also want to check the format of the phones, as well as the compatibility matrix that the phone you're using supports whisper, as not all do.

I had check on compatibility matrix, below are the phone models we are using.
Phone Model: 7875 7841 7975 8811 8945 7975
Issue is now resolved ! we have not used g711 ulaw hence didnt had a chance to test.
Cause was the codec on the cucm trunk was not accepting the calls as g711alaw wasnt defined properly , hence initial invite was getting cleared even before the vru responds back due to this codec issue.
