Windows Security Update on AQM

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have idea about automatic windows security or anti-virus updates on AQM base and recording servers.

I looked through admin guides and cannot locate any informtation. My question is does it cause any issues if I enable automatic windows patches or java or anti-virus?

The query applies to both QM 8.x and 9.x, which are stand alone servers. They will soon be added to domain as part of corporate policies.

Any best practices, suggestions will be appreciated.

The OS for AQM is unmanaged (i.e. Cisco or Calabrio don't provide patch bundles) so follow your standard procedures.... i.e. apply MS patches it, but do so carefully, following backups etc.

Install AV, and follow standard SQL recs for exclusions. I would also consider excluding the AQM program and recording directories if you are paranoid.

I would avoid updating Java; when you update AQM that will include an appropriate updated JVM.
