Spinning Wheel when trying to login

When I try to log into a fresh install of APIC-EM, I put in my username and password and press the Log In button and it just sits there in spins.

Has anyone seen this before?

I am guessing it is a service that I do not have running, as I do not have enough RAM to run them all at the same time. If this is the case does anyone have any idea which service it might need?

Hi David,

   Did you had chance to try - going to https://controllerIP:14141 (port 14141) use the same credential as you login to your UI.

Yes, logging into port 14141 works just fine. It is only when trying to login to https://controllerIP.

It's weird because it seems like it is not able to authenticate - I have tried incorrect username and password and experience the exact same symptoms.

In case anyone stumbles across the same issue, it is either the rbac service or the cas service that allows the authentication. They both came up at approximately the same time, but after they did I was able to complete the login process.

APIC-EM GA1.1 is released. Maybe you can try this latest version.

HI James,

you are running into an issue with services if you go into the controller at  port 14141 and spin up the rbac and the cas service I think it will fix the issue.

Hi Nick,

if you log in to to https://<controllerIP>:14141 you should be able to start the services from that interface. I am not looking at my lab right now, so I don't know the exact buttons to push, but if you poke around and can't figure it out let me know and I can post a step by step walkthrough.
