ACI leaf switches Relocation

Hi Guys, 

I need to move the Cisco ACI Pair of Leaf switches from one rack to another rack. We need to power them off, move to other racks, and power them on again. Do we need to follow any specific steps to bring them back online with the same config? 

I believe we just need to remove the uplinks and power them off and reconnect and power them on. APic will push the config back to the switches once they are connected back. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

When moving a pair of Cisco ACI Leaf switches from one rack to another, there are some steps you should follow to ensure that they come back online with the same configuration:

- Remove the uplinks: Before powering off the switches, you should remove the uplinks to prevent any disruption to the network.

- Power off the switches: Once the uplinks have been removed, you can power off the switches.

- Move the switches: Move the switches to the new rack.

- Power on the switches: After the switches are in the new rack, you can power them on.

- Connect the uplinks: Once the switches are powered on, you should connect the uplinks.

- Verify connectivity: After the uplinks are connected, you should verify that the switches are communicating with the rest of the network.

Your understanding is correct. Once the switches are reconnected, the APIC will push the configuration back to the switches. However, it's important to make sure that the APIC is fully operational and communicating with the switches before restoring connectivity to the uplinks.
