Can 1000base SX run with 100 basx SX ?

Hello folks,

I am asking an ignorant question which I really don't know.

Can Cisco 1000base SX transceiver negotiate downwards to 100M if I have 1000base SX at one end and 100base SX at the other end?

Can Cisco 1000base SX run at 100M? Is there any way to get above setup work?

You need to have 1G SFP on both sides
