LACP configuration guideline in a leaf spine clos

Hello Folks-

In a leaf spine topology, we have LACP port channels between each leaf and spine. What is the guideline here for LACP configuration? This will be a multi vendor CLOS network.

1. Should I go with active/active or active/passive? If active/passive I'm thinking leaf side will be active and spine side will be passive

2. LACP rate? Should it be slow or fast?

Thanks.

1. active/active would be normal case, as far as I known, customer almost uses a/a mode

2. slow is enough, unless you have strict requirement to make link suspending when PDU drops
