Looking for a concise Nexus 1000 deployment guide.

Hi,
What kind of info are you looking for in specific?
If just general setup info, have you checked out the video section? There are a few brief videos in there that should be useful for getting you going on the 1KV. You could also check out the Getting Started Guide for current release: https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus1000/sw/4_0_4_s_v_1_2/getting_started/guide/n1000v_gsg_3setup_gui.html
Not sure of a real "concise" guide in readable format (except vids and GSG above), since the product integration and other environmental variables seem to force some rather in-depth discussion and planning most of the time.

Ryan,
Thanks. So far the most valuable document I've found it the "Cisco Nexus 1000V Series Switches Deployment Guide".
Due to security measures, we are having to implement the Nexus quickly and am trying to get up to speed. I'll look over your recommended document as well.
Anything else you would recommend?
Thanks,
Chris Deemer

The other two documents I used in conjunction with the one you mentioned are:
System Configuration Guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus1000/sw/4_0_4_s_v_1_2/system_management/configuration/guide/n1000v_system.html
Port-profile Configuration Guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus1000/sw/4_0_4_s_v_1_2/port_profile/configuration/guide/n1000v_portprof.html
That aside, there's a ton of good info in the forums/sharp people here, and a few blogs I have perused over the last month or so (Jason Nash, Scott Lowe, Chad Sakac) with some related material. Especially good info in the blogs because they addressed some of the issues we ended up running into outside of our generic install/port-profile push, and saved me a lot of time and hairpulling. There are still some gotchas to be aware of (most of them you'll find on these boards, I think), and a lot of stuff that looks like it might be getting addressed in next release, so my last recommendation is to get familiar with this process:
