N7K s1 with CMP - NX-OS software upgrade through CMP instead of Console?

Nexus 7K S1 has CMP port. I am wondering anyone had performed NX-OS software upgrade remotely through CMP like a console port.

Have you lost access to the CP ? As CMP is a backup option in case the CP fails

I tested it out and I could use CMP to perform upgrade like physically attached to console.
