N9K-C93108TC-FX3P Interface cannot be restored back to speed auto

Hi everyone

We just deployed two N9K-C93180YC-FX3 and three N9K-C93108TC-FX3P.

C93108TC-FX3P using FEX mode, dual-home connected to two N9K-C93180YC-FX3.

By default the N9K-C93108TC-FX3P are interfaces are all in duplex mode with rate auto-negotiation . But I found that once I configured speed 100 or speed 1000 under the interface, I can't restore the interface back to default. At this point, configuring speed auto under the interface is not effective, even if I use the command default interface eth101/1/2 to restore the default settings.

Is there any way to set the interface back to speed auto?

OS version 10.2(4)

Below is part of the configuration log:

Try shutting down the port on both , then defaulting the port, then shutting it down again if it's not then configuring it on both and then turning it back on.. FEX can be really annoying sometimes, so much that i stopped using it.
