Nexus 2348UPQ VPC on nexus 5000 (dual home with odd number links)

Hi

I have 2 Nexus 2348-U.P.Q with two Nexus 5696.

As you know 2348 have 6*40 G Fabric interface included.

I need to have dual home design on f.ex and 2 parents with V.P.C .

Could i create 2 port channel with 3 links include (odd number instead of 2,4,...)? one port channel with 3*40 G and other 3*40 G connect to N.5.K? 

Does it work? If yes, what's cons?

what's best solution for these situation?

I do not see any reason why you can not do that in the Data Center Design world.
