Nexus 3048-TP-1G VXLAN

Hi Team,

I am looking for VXLAN support in Cisco Nexus N3K-C3048TP-1GE, in configuration guide for Nexus 3000 Series, it says that VXLAN is supported but in data-sheet and in switch comparison it says that VXLAN is not supported. Please help, if you have any working experience N3K-C3048TP-1GE and VXLAN.

Hi @sudan_023,

In regards of VXLAN, not all the Cisco Switches part of the Nexus 3000 family have full support. Some Nexus 3000 Switches support only VXLAN Bridging, other VXLAN Bridging & Routing and others have no VXLAN support.

Thank you for your reply. The compare models shows that 3048 doesn't have VXLAN Capability. Also, found that 3048 is End of Life and End of Sale announced. Looks like Nexus 9348GC-FXP is good fit.
