Hello, I have Nexus 3064 on as my core switch. In official documentation we can read that is "1.28-Tbps switching capacity"
But how it look like on L3 ? I want to set up VRRP with other router and Nexus will be as backup "router" but I'm afraid that capacity and performance will drop.
And other question is CPU run on PCI lines or it is FPGA like hardware?

Hi @DeviC3
All Nexus switches are doing hardware-based forwarding (routing and switching). In other words, no data plane traffic is reaching the CPU. So whatever details you see there at switching capacity, applies to routing as well.
Take care,
Sergiu
