We have a Nexus C3548P-10GX.

From a technical point of view, can we use all the 48 ports ? If yes, will it run with any limitations, for instance, trial period, limited bandwidth/speed, PPS or similar ?

As far as I know, Nexus 3000 series switches have honor based licenses i.e you can use them without installing and they will never expire but in order to be compliant with Cisco you need to purchase and install them on the switch.
The 24 port upgrade license maybe also honor based
