That's because the NXOS image is unique to all 3 platforms: N3K, N3500, N9K.

Here are more details about the 9k-mode:

Also, you can see the difference of the commands here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/switches/nexus-3000-series-switches/products-command-reference-list.html

You will notice that only N3K has 3K mode and 9K mode:

What you are looking for is not available on Nexus 3500. This platform works in either warp mode (official name Algo Boost Engine which is the ultra low latency forwarding) or normal switching mode. You can use this command to see which mode is working.

switch# show hardware profile forwarding-mode
==========================
 forwarding-mode : warp
==========================

The 3K/9K mode is only applicable for Nexus 3000 or 3100 series.

Stay safe,

Sergiu

Hello Msdaniluk,

Thanks for your kindly reply.

According to Cisco download website of Nexus 3548-XL, there’re release notes for N3K and N9K.

Does these not mean N3K or N9K mode ?

All I know the difference between N3K and N9K mode is command line, am I right ?!

Thanks.
