I had a problem with my nexus 5k (5696) las day...
it connects to my 2Ks(2348) like a normal design and worked perfect bu last day one of my FEX links to one of my FEXes started to goes from connected to fabric and goes back to connected and it took about 3-4 hours (i saw that later in logs):
ernet5/7 changed its status from Connecting to Fabric Up
ernet5/7 changed its status from Fabric Up to Connecting
after that time all of my FEXes that connected to that 5k gone offline and none of them show any errors!!! so basically all my servers that connected to those FEXes stopped working.
my question is why all the FEXes has gone offline?!?!!
as I understand at the worst-case scenario one of my FEXes must go offline not all of them (besides that that one FEX also has 5 more uplinks and it must never go offline).
