Hi

I have been tasked with uploading via tftp new images to our Nexus 5k devices ready for the upgrade process,  do I use the same commands that I would when uploading via tftp to a catalyst switch.?

Thanks

It's the same with FTP, just do not forget the "vrf management", if you are using the mgmt0:

copy tftp://1.1.1.1/xx.bin bootflash: vrf management

Hi @benolyndav,

NXOS system image is a big file, so it's recommended that you can use FTP/SFTP/SCP to copy the image to N5K, it is more accurate and efficient.

copy ftp://ftp.user@ftp.serverip/xx.bin bootflash: vrf management (The VRF should be able to reach the FTP server)

Hi

Thanks for that. what about tftp ??
