nexus 7710 switchover cause evms failure

hi everyone

I have nexus 7710 switch and it suddenly started a switchover cause by "evms failure". can you please tell me what is evms and how i can prevent this from happening?

Hello @mahdihabashi , 

Hope you are doing well. 

EVMS failure usually require RMA of the faulty SUP.
Due to lack of logs, it's hard to correctrly troubleshoot the issue, the best would be to open a TAC case to have this troubleshooted. 

Helpful logs will be: 
show tech-support details

Check also the presence of a possible core file related to EVMS process:

show cores
