Nexus 7k with SUP2 SPAN session limit

I remember read it somewhere that for an N7K-C7009 chassis with N7K-SUP2E, you can only have three SPAN sessions across all the VDCs. Is that correct? 

I have four VDCs. Each one needs to have a SPAN configured to send traffic to a security appliance. The source is the VLAN. Will this setup work?

This will depend on your NX-OS version. The SPAN/ERSPAN limitations (chassis-wide) are documented in our Verified Scalability Guide. Look under "Table 21. Configuration Limits for System Management."

Unless you are running end-of-life (EOL) code.. You should be fine with 4 sessions across the chassis.
