Hi,

We've upgraded : C93180YC-EX from 9.3(7) to 10.2(4)

Upgrade is done, but in show version,  I can see :

Software BIOS: version 07.69 NXOS: version 10.2(4) [Maintenance Release] BIOS compile time: 04/07/2021 NXOS image file is: bootflash:///nxos64-cs.10.2.4.M.bin NXOS compile time: 9/20/2022 12:00:00 [10/26/2022 11:19:04] Hardware cisco Nexus9000 C93180YC-EX chassis Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU @ 1.80GHz with 24617888 kB of memory. Processor Board ID FDO213414B9 Device name: ntn01-n9k-cae bootflash: 53298520 kB Kernel uptime is 0 day(s), 0 hour(s), 27 minute(s), 16 second(s) Last reset at 162213 usecs after Thu Feb 1 10:47:14 2024 Reason: Reset due to upgrade System version: 9.3(7) Service:

What is the difference ? do it means that the upgrade is not 100% successfully ?

Thanks in advance

Hello @robad ,

Yes, I confirm your upgrade towards 10.2.4M is successful.
9.3.7 is highlighted in "show system reset-reason" because when the switch reloaded to perform the upgrade, it was in 9.3.7.

"show logging onboard internal reset-reason" will highlight the same.
You could also check "show module", 10.2.4M should also be displayed.
Hope it helps.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,
Antoine
