show mac address shows multiple entries

Folks,

            When i do show mac-address table for a couple of mac addresses in my network i get multiple entries.

 

show mac address-table address 0008.e3ff.fd90

why is this mac address showing up in multiple v la n s?

This is a expect behavior, 0008.e3ff.fd90 is the burned-in MAC address.
