Why some vlan info are not listed such as vlan name when show running-config in cisco switch? but sometimes vlan names are listed. It looks like it related with vlan number. Anyone can explain it?

Hi @interfacedy
Maybe it's because the vlan name is not configured. Which switch model are you talking about?
Can you share an example of "problematic" vlan, which should have a vlan name and does not?
And by example, I mean share the "show running" and "show vlan".
Cheers,
Sergiu

Thanks for your reply. I notice when vlan number is four digit in C9300, we can see it using showing run, if it is three digit, we cannot see it using show run
For example:
show runn
vlan 2002
name Prod

Is the vlan configured? Do you see it in show vlan?

I can see all vlan using command show vlan, but cannot see these vlan(three digit) using show run. Looks like two kinds of vlan restored in different locations

It's expected behavior if you are running VTP. VTP has a VLAN DB, it will take over the VLAN management from "show run".
