We recently have enabled SAML for authenticating administrators on our SMA in CES. We are using Azure AD. We used to use local accounts on the SMA. We would like to remove all of our local accounts we created, however we have some accounts that are accessing the SMA via the API to pull statistics and other information. Is it possible to use SAML authentication to access the API? So instead of a local username and password, use my AZURE credentials like user@somedomain.com and that password?
Thanks.

We have SAML set up and are using it for logging in to the GUI. I want to use it in an application to authenticate to pull data from API calls.
