You should open a support case and open remote access for an engineer to go through and assure there are not any stale/old core files that are eating up un-necessary space. From the customer side CLI, there is not a way for you to accomplish this.
The option you would have is to enable FTP, and then go into the mail logs, system logs - determine if you have retained too many/too long of time (old).
Since the C170 has smallest HDD, more than likely I will go out on a limb here and say you have core files that are generated when a process/service dies unexpectedly, and creates the core file on the backend - usually used for in-depth troubleshooting. These live on the backend, and would need to have Cisco take a look into further.
Also - assure that you are running a more recent version of AsyncOS for Email Security on your appliance. The newer versions allow diskquotaconfig, which may allow you better management over allocation sized:
mail.local.com> diskquotaconfig
Service Disk Usage(GB) Quota(GB)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spam Quarantine (EUQ) 1 1
Policy, Virus & Outbreak Quarantines 1 3
Reporting 5 10
Tracking 1 10
Miscellaneous Files 6 20
System Files Usage : 6 GB
User Files Usage : 0 GB
Total 14 44 of 143
Choose the operation you want to perform:
- EDIT - Edit disk quotas
