Dear all,

I was told that for email blast in ESA, we can setup up multiple connection. Presently we only setup one connection for email blast. Can anyone please help to assist on how to setup multiple connection? Thanks in advance.

if i understand correct, you are asking about configuring multiple listener.

you can configure multiple private listener to serve outbound connections, do check the setup guide for ESA

Hi Sriram, from my understanding that public listener for inbound email and private listener for outbound. In the setup guide, i can only found setup for inbound email using the public listener:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/esa/esa12-0/user_guide/b_ESA_Admin_Guide_12_0/b_ESA_Admin_Guide_chapter_0100.html#con_1281969
Is this guide applicable to use for outbound email?

Hello Akmalzamin,

You can configure a RELAYED mail flow policy and RELAYLIST into the Inbound listener (via HAT overview) and achieve outbound flows with a single listener setup.

Else you will need to create a new listener (and IP interface) if you want a separate IP for outbound flows.

Attaching a PDF i made for a previous customer during my TAC days; the information here is still relevant so don't mind the date.

The PDF is clickable to get around and should give you the resources to understand a single listener and dual listener setup.

Cheers,

Mathew

Hi Matthew,

I understood. However, at the moment i cant figure out how to setup a multiple connection for outbound email. As I mentioned on my previous email,  I only found setup guide for only incoming email. Just want to clarify if the guide is applicable for outbound setup.

And I do have some concern if it is OK to have 2 DKIM DNS TXT record in the DNS?

Yes you can have multiple DKIM records. Thats what the selector is for...
