Guys,
just about to upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 and received this file from my rep
cisco-ipt-k9-patch5.1.2.3000-2.tar.gz.sgn
However, when i attempt to download the file name comes up as cisco-ipt-k9-patch5.1.2.3000-2.tar.gz.gz. do i leave it like that or can i download it and simply rename to .sgn?
weird question i know.

The .tar.gz.sgn files don't seem to download correctly from CCO with Internet Explorer or
Safari. IE (at least 6.0) tries to name it .tar.gz.gz requiring the user to manually fix the filename back to .tar.gz.sgn, and Safari tries to download the file as a
.tar.gz.sgn.gz and accordingly can't find it.
Firefox does properly download it with the correct filename
Rename it to tar.gz.sgn

i downloaded that file previously and it was like yours with gz extension, i just renamed it from tar.gz.gz to .tar.gz.sgn so ccm saw it in sftp directory, and upgrade was done.

Majdi,
Did it work normally after you renamed the file?? Because i've just tried and i receive MD5 error.

There shouldn't be any problem if u just changed the extension. Have upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 and there's no issues.
