Hi Mohammad.

Have you solved this problem? I have the same problem with 6921 phones. I have a case opened with TAC (since march/2016) but honestly saying it's looks like Cisco doesn't know how to solve it. The bug CSCtr09039 is not applied for me because all access switch ports are set as Auto/Auto.

I've tested so many configurations and firmware's and network switches (2960, 3550, 3560 and 3750) but the problem is still there. The only way that 6921 works without problem is using a local power supply (CUBE3) but it is not the solution of the problem.

I installed the another publisher running the same version and with the same firmware version and there the 6921 is working fine.

I'm running CUCM version 10.5.2.10000-5 (PUB + SUB). Both nodes are installed in host VMWare running ESXi version 5.5U2.

Please let me know if you solve this problem and let me know the result of it,.

Thanks.

Hi Bruno,

Good news from you, actually in my project I had 3 phones the same issue and after I looked and made comparision between FW version between working and not working I found different versions, but unfortunately I didn't find a chance to update the FW and try.

My CUCM sub and pub is 8.6 ver. in ESXi 5.5.

But my question is if I was wanted to change th ip phone FW but I can't connect to it how can I do that!

another question bruno! after you installed another pub running the same FW version I couldn't understand this point very wel, could you explain it more, plz?

Thanks

Mohammad Saeed
