hi,

yes, 6941 and 6961 phones are not supported till Cisco Unified SRST 7.1,

but  Cisco Unified SRST 8.0, 8.1 and 8.5 do support.

check the link below for further details,

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6788/vcallcon/ps2169/data_sheet_c78-632010.html

Priya,

Thank you for your reply. The link you provided indicates the 6941 phone does support SIP SRST. This is good news! However, within the document referenced in the link provided by you please click the link in the section "Cisco Unified SRST and Unified E-SRST Platform Information" which takes you here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2169/products-device-support-tables-list.html

which is the "Cisco Unified SRST x.x Supported Firmware, Platforms, Memory, and Voice Products" data sheet. After selecting the data sheet for versions 8.5 or 8.6 and looking in the column for "SIP Firmware filename" you will notice the version is listed as "N/A"

Does this indicate the device will or will not function in SRST with a SIP firmware image?

I ask because even after many hours of troubleshooting we have been unable to get a 6941 to come out of SRST when service is restored. The phone enters SRST when we break connectivity between the phone/router and CUCM, but the phone remains in SRST indefinitely, even after the connectivity is restored.

Thanks again for your reply!
